Obtaining a Saudi Police Clearance
To obtain a Police Clearance from Saudi police authorities, the Australian Embassy requires the following documentation for each person included in the application aged 16 years and over:
- a copy of the iqama (including iqama number in English)
- a photocopy of the passport (the page showing correct full name and nationality)
- a fee of SR504 (fee is subject to change) is charged per person for the Police Clearance
On receipt of the above documentation and fees, the Embassy will prepare a letter in English and Arabic which will be forwarded to you by registered post, or by courier at your expense. Please also forward a copy of the letter advising you to provide police clearances (letter from the office processing your application).
It is normal procedure to forward the letter to you by ordinary mail, and if you would like the letters to be forwarded to you by, for example, courier, please provide written authorisation.
