Fees for the performance of notarial acts
The fee specified in an item is imposed for the performance, whether in Australia or elsewhere, of the Consular Act by an Australian Diplomatic Officer.
- Administering an oath or receiving a declaration or affirmation with or without witness of signature: $A 20
- Witnessing the signature, or the seal, or the signature and the seal: $A 20
- Witnessing the signature, and the photograph for an Australian driver's licence: $A 40
- Signing a document, or affixing a seal to a document or other article: $A 20
- Making & certifying a copy of a document or part of a document and in addition: $A 30
- If the Consular act includes the typing of the document, or part of the document for each 50 typed words: $A 20
- For each copy, other than the first typed copy to a page of the document: $A 3
- Verifying and certifying a copy of a document or part of a document and in addition: $A 30
- For each copy, other than the first typed copy: $A 30
- Uniting documents and affixing a seal to the fastening: $A 20
- Witnessing the execution of a will: $A 40
- Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage: $A130
